Qatar Airways supports Cape Town-bound PSL team

Qatar Airways, one of the world’s first-class airline companies, has extended its support to the Philippine Swimming League (PSL) delegation seeing action in the 2014 Western Province Aquatics (WPA) Swimming Gala scheduled on February 8 to 9 at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) Aquatics Center in Cape Town, South Africa.

Universiade tryouts up

The Philippine Swim League, the national sports association for swimming of the Federation of School Sports Associations of the Philippines (FESSAP), is conducting the first tryout for the 2015 World Universiade, in the 52nd Leg of the PSL Series, dubbed Manila Times College Swimming Championships, on Jan. 26 at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

PSL TO SELECT 96 TANKERS FOR UNIVERSIADE IN TMTC SWIM MEET

The Philippine Swimming League (PSL) will be selecting a total of 96 swimmers in the PSL 52nd Leg Series dubbed as The Manila Times College Swimming Championship on January 26 at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila. The 48 female and 48 male swimmers will be representing the country in the prestigious 2015 World Universiade in Gwangju, South Korea.

PSL tanker Cordero to see action in Cape Town tourney

PSL-TMTC swim meet fires off January 26

More than 400 swimmers will be vying for top honors in the 52nd Philippine Swimming League (PSL) leg series dubbed as The Manila Times College (TMTC) Swimming Championships scheduled on January 26 at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila. The competition will be participated by teams from Aklan, Capiz, Batangas, Bulacan, Baguio, Antipolo, Davao, Tarlac, Zambales, Pasay, Quezon City, Parañaque, Navotas, Marikina, Manila, Lucena, Muntinlupa, Laguna, Caloocan, Bicol, Iloilo and Pampanga.

Adorna, Alindogan named 2013 Philippine Swimmers of the Year

Ma. Claire Adorna and McTracy John Alindogan were named 2013 Philippine Swimmers of the Year by the Philippine Swimming League after their sterling performances both in local and international competitions. The Rookie of the Year for Girls goes to Jasmine Micaela Mojdeh. For the boys, Rookie of the Year is Michael Gabriel Lozada, who started competitive swimming in May 2013 at the age of six and was a consistent Most Outstanding Swimmer. The Coach of the Year is Richard Ryan Robles of R3 Aquaspeed Swimming Team winning six overall team championship trophies. Lifetime Achievement Award to Ruben Luna of De La Salle University-Dasmarinas.
